I dedicate this to every child who tries to help us them and the "World" and us the "Parents"  To listen and believe in them. Listen to our voices, Look into our eyes. We say!!! Please never give up, We haven't. 

I am a child who believes in a future. Just believe in me. Christopher Duffley is a 14 year old blind and autistic singer and multi instrumentalist.

His goal is to his vision through his inspirational singing

Life and people can be so cruel and deceiving at times. Some of as adults have the privilege of taking life for granted and doing as we see fit. We don't stop and think of the consequences or who it hurts till afterwards. 

Sometimes it takes looking through the eyes of a child and hearing their voices. Stand up and listen to their messages. Sometimes even though we can't understand their words at times we can hear the music that comes from their soul and and hear them say yes. 

I am different, I exist !!!.  But do not treat me different. Talk to me. Try to understand me. For I am not a disease. I am a child with Autism, I am a child with cancer. I am deaf and blind. But above all I am a child that believes in a future. I believe I can do anything if you will just listen and believe in me.

We are the parents so Step up!!.

We are the parents so 

Step up!!.

I think this topic touches us all. Everyone's children and grandchildren are raised different. I believe it's up to us as parents and grandparents to teach our children about the values in life while growing up. We can't keep blaming it on, Technology, TV, Games or iPhones or computers. Or their friends. It is our job as parents to set rules and explain why. 

Just because John and Debbie have the latest pricy gadgets and refuse to listen and would rather play games or talk on there iPhones doesn't mean if your child throws a tantrum you buy them whatever they want to keep them happy and out of your hair. 

Yes lack of respect, obese and laziness are out of hand. Now look around and ask yourself when is it time to step up and start changing the problem. Start thinking of your children and a future with them. Get involved show them a better life together. We can do this.

Parent's teach children values.

As parents we try to provide our children with the nurturing, love and support that they will need to grow in positive ways in life. Sometimes this leads to trying to keep our children happy by giving them all they ask for just to keep them satisfied and never doing without.Yes we all want our children to be happy. Mine word is!!!! 
One word I would like to offer to the world is let's "Unite" as one.

How free would we the people of the world be if we all as brothers and sisters choose to come together and "Unite" as one. No more violence, No more killing innocent people, No more Racism. Helping thy neighbor in thier times of need. "Unite" That is my word for the world today. What will your word be?

Halloween "vs" true Values.

This story is not intended for anyone in particular. What kind of values are we teaching our children. When we are saying its ok to spend $20 to $50 on a Halloween Costume that is only good for one night of fun.

Now what can $20 to $50 do
in today's economy.It can help pay a water bill it can also help buy groceries for a week. Or maybe be saved for that family Vacation next summer together. What happened to making homemade costumes?. Has Halloween become a competition on who has the best costume or most expensive.

Yes I believe it has and with today's economy one never knows when that rainy day will come. What happens when you get laid off from your Job.
Or maybe you or your children need medicine and can't afford it.

My point is when your child asks you, Mom or Dad I need $30 for a school trip and your reply is! Well we just don't have it. Will they or you remember you just spent $20 to $50 on a Halloween Costume for a popularity contest instead of saving it.

Tell me how can one explain to a child that the values in life are just spend it because its only money and if we need money we can Rob Peter to pay Paul.
That's another story in itself.
I say the values we teach our children are what they grow up to remember that's its ok to spend money we can't afford to spend.

"Popularity cost me my "Dignity".

People often live there lives by, Who drives the finest "Cars", The biggest "House" on the block with the finest pool for the best parties. They dressed their children in name brand clothes and shoes.We put our children in every sports for popularity no matter the cost. Then we eat at the finest diners.

 
Then when our children become of age,

We take them to get there Drivers License, then off to buy them a new 

Ford Mustang, andwered agree to pay the payments and insurance. Then we hand the keys to them give with extra  money for gas. Now your children are free to run and do as they please. Not seeing them only long enough to say ?, Mom or Dad can I get $20 for gas and food?. Then your child Is out the door again thinking "Mom and Dad we have the perfect Life".

Here's the big (Shocker).!!!!
Finally time to sit and take a breather from your, Richer then now lifestyle.
Husband walks in and here it is, That Dreaded word. (Debt). We need to talk "Honey". We lost our (House).
We just couldn't pay the $1020.00 a month mortgage payments. We have already used the children's college fund money. The only words in your mind that you could think of was!!!!. How did this happen?, and where did we go wrong. 

I have my opinionated answer on this.

The first reason !!! We all like to live a little richer, sometimes over looking the fact that will it hurt us 5 or 10 years down the road when we decide to start a family. I believe that's why divorced rates on the rise. We have teenagers turning into adults with no jobs or education to support themselves. Women and Men living off Welfare and child support, because the've become so depressed, they can't find a job or choose to just give up.

There's nothing wrong with living within our means. Teaching our children "Morals" and to say it's "OK" to be in sports but pick one. Brand names are not always the best brands. Then when your old enough to get a job we will discuss helping you get a car and Insurance.

Explain to your children that buying the finer things in life just to be Popular, can cost you everything. Like "Debt" with no way out, Cant afford to send your kids to college. All because I wanted to look and feel "Rich" like my Popular Friends.
To me there all excuses, Just because you have, A fine Car, The richest house on the block, and eat at fancy diners, wear only name brand clothes makes you no better then me. 

Trying to povide a living while raising a family is hard in today's world, While thinking your better then the rest.
See common sense and living within your means could have sent your child,
to "College". Living in a Beautiful house you could have left to your children in the future.So because i thought "Popular" was better then "Dignity"
Me and my 2 children live in a fixed income house, I also receive food-stamps.
I'm divorced and my children cannot be in Sports.
I now have nothing to offer my children because I to thought I was,
Popular and deserved better no matter the cost.
So Being, "Popular" cost me my "Dignity".

Aug-29-12, A 100 year old driver hits 11 near School. Nine children and two adults were hit. None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, and most had bumps and bruises. But what if someone was Killed??.
He's to old for Jail or Prison.

A 100-year-old man is apologetic after barreling into a crowd of mostly school kids in Los Angeles and sending 11 people to the hospital.

"I'm sorry," Preston Carter told
I lost control of the car. The brakes failed, I think.

Nine children and two adults were taken to hospitals, according to Erik Scott, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, and most had bumps and bruises.

The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon when Carter was backing up from a grocery store near an elementary school in southern Los Angeles.

His Cadillac jumped the curb and plowed into the crowd, according to Richard French, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.

Classes had let out at Main Street Elementary School and students were waiting to be picked up by their parents when the crash happened.

Officers are investigating the incident, but it does not appear that Carter will be charged, police told the affiliate .

New form of Child Abuse - Waterboarding

Dr.Melvin L Morse and his wife, Pauline L. Morse of Georgetown, Deleware were arrested and charged with recklessly endangering their two daughters.

The Delaware doctor and his wife were arrested this week after their daughter told authorities that she was punished by "water boarding," police said.
The 11-year-old girl told police that her father, pediatrician Melvin Morse, would hold her face under a running faucet causing the water to shoot up her nose, the Delaware State Police said.

The punishments happened at least four times over a two-year period and the girl's mother, Pauline Morse, witnessed some of them and did nothing, police said. To read more go to link below.

"My back Window"

As I sit down and start writing I look
out my back window.I look out and I can see inside other people's back windows. It's impossible for me to help but notice the interest of my neighbors.
There are many children living in
these homes.I don't know their names. There's a helpless baby who "Cries"
all day, for he is shaken, and beaten
by a angry nanny who treats him like a rag doll.

I see a teenage girl covering
her head screaming please mommy don't hit me no more.
I see a little boy with a bruised
Face writing on a window
Please help me!!!.

I sometimes wonder if our neighbors ever have an interest in us or our shady sides. Something we don't show to the world. I wonder do they love, pity, or condemn us?. What words do they speak!!. Do they forget who may be watching us from their back windows, with clearer eyes.

Could it be a Women with a pen in her hand who continues to write what she see's from her "Back Window".

"Blanchard" my best"Memories".

I want to say my life has always been full of adventures. I have to say one adventure that keeps you guessing and is full of Excellent "Music" swimming, tanning, of course every night is a party of unforgettable "Memories". Our Vacation spot is known as "Barkshed" also known as "Blanchard" in Baxter County Ar.

This is the kind of Camping where there's no, Electricity, No phone service, just back in the woods camping with a lot of tents. We
all gather around a campfire and listen to Guitars as we all sing along to the music from my son Derrick Brandons band,

Words of wisdom "Family".

Today I wanted to do a story about "Family". Few Pointers.
Does anyone but a few understand the meaning.

1. Family is suppose to be there thru "Thick & Thin".
2. Family, does not come with a definition that explains, Use me as needed.
3. Family, when one of us are down it helps to have someone try to cheer us up and spend time with us, Not walk all over us like a floor mat.
4. Family, they can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
5. Family, when is the last time
you went and see them just to let them know, You appreciate all they have done for you.
6. Family, Appreciate them while you can because any second they
Could be "Gone" from your life
then it's to late yo say,
"I love you " Thanks for helping and "Loving" me back.
I wrote this because some people need to realize remember. A simple "Thank you" or "I love you"
Can bring a world of Loneliness

Should Spanking still be allowed, At Home and School.
Would you support its use at your child's school?. I have posted a video. The of the Schools point of view. It is Explicit and a Graphic Video.

This will always be a touchy subject, Now where is the studies about giving our Schools
permission to use Corporal Punishment, on our children when entering our Public Schools.
All I keep hearing is how wrong it is for Parents to spank but I can say I have seen and heard what goes on in some local Schools.

My opinion, there's a difference in Spanking and Abuse from the, Schools and Parents. I believe spanking is ok. Beating out of "Anger" is not by a parent or School.

If you're a parent, chances are you've stood at this crossroads before when trying to discipline your child: To spank or not to spank? Some people say it's constructive, but others think it's a form of abuse. So where do you draw the line between healthy and harmful?.

A recent study from Canadian, claims that spanking our child could cause developmental delays. We talked to Dr. Robert Needlman, a behavioral and developmental pediatrician to get his thoughts and Opinion.

His advice was In these terms of what spanking is?. This is not abuse - the data is mixed and there are many, many people who remember having been spanked by their parents as children.

That said, Dr. Needlman says spanking is absolutely not necessary. He says it teaches your kids that they can get their way through physical force, and it can evolve to something much worse.

Now if the parent spanks the child and the behavior doesn't get better, and the parent keeps spanking and the behavior doesn't get better, pretty soon you're in a position where the parent is actually abusing the child," says Dr. Needlman.

Study or no study, the fact is many adults were spanked as kids while not being abused, according to Dr. Needlman, No reason to go down that road over and over.

Dedicated to my daughters, "Samantha", "Kimmie" and my granddaughter "Jessica" and all "Mothers" around the world. I want to say our strength and "Hearts" are what bonds us as "Mothers", from around the World. We are the silent "Angels" that protect you our "Children".

Her Strength a Soldiers Wife.

I'm now a single Mother with 2 children to raise, I look for a plan to live through our days. My husband was a man of great virtue, His touch was the balance that beat in my Heart, His love for his family kept him safe in the Dark.

Then the nightmares continued night after night, constantly screaming troops. were in for a fight. The firing of guns and the bombs that he hears, lets him know that they are near. I hold him and tell him I'll keep him safe as we both drift off in a somber sleep.

Suddenly I wake to a cuddling sound, I ran and stumbled where my husband was found. I let out a scream to find no one around that's when I seen the blood all around. Now I come to realize the years in Iraq and the wars before them had taken his life, and ended the tricks they played in his head.

My husband ended his life with bullet to his head. Standing alone and my weakness shows through, I'm a Mother with 2 children now what do I do. My husband had strength and he walked with great pride, but the terrors took over because because he refused to hide.

Telling my children that's why there daddy had died. I stand before this country and say, I was married to a soldier with no weakness he knew, Fought for our Freedom and gave it to you.
I stand at his grave with tears on my face, I miss and love you, and I'm never that far, Remember my husband your my forever, "Shinning Star".

The Silent Disease.

It watches us while we sleep.
Following us day by day.
Stays in our minds as we silently think,
No where to run it does not escape.
The pills they feed me i no longer take.
I want to sleep and never wake.
Darkness please tell me, where do i go?
Please tell me my mind  how to let go.
This disease its has a  mad aggression,
it goes by a name it's called Depression.
I wake up no more with pains or regrets,
we all walk around as if we all met.
Today is the day there is no more Light,
Were all together we gave up our Fight.

As I sit working at my back window,
I look out and see other people's back windows,
and it is quite impossible for me to help but notice
the interest in my neighbors.
There are many children in these houses,
i don't know none of their names.
The helpless baby who roars all day
for he is shaken, spanked, by a angry nanny
