"Arlington," Trace Adkins (2005) The song was inspired by U.S. Marine Cpl. Patrick Nixon, the first soldier from Tennessee killed during the war in Iraq. Songwriter Dave Turnbull wrote it with Jeremy Spillman after meeting the soldier's father.
