The glasses and beard they give him away. He pushes a cart
to start out his day. His stomach it growls as he looks for food
to start out his day. He found in a dumpster a slice of bread
and stale meat along with a brownie to save as a treat. His day starts to fade from light into dark the rains pouring
down with no shelter in sight. I once had a home two children
and Wife. It all ended one day when a drunk driver ended
there lives. They call me the homeless as everyone can see
i choose to be homeless when my Family was taken from me.
So if you drive by and happen to see a homeless man
just like me. Dont be afraid to talk to me because you
could be homeless just like me.

The best way to understand people is to listen to them.We can learn alot about Family, Friends, and Lover's, if we would just listen, not talk back or interrupt. Let them vent, cry, or just say what's on there mind.Then maybe we could understand and live together happy, knowing we were there to listen and help if needed. It is not our place to judge someone.We can offer advice hoping that it will help there situation. It is there place to see fit to use it or just walk away as if nothing was said. I feel a breeze as it touches my skin.
I hear the chimes as the music begins.
Like day and night, you change like the wind.
Always breaking my heart, i still wont give in.
My outside is weak,
but my soul remains strong.
I want to love him,
even though it feels wrong.

The man that i loved, was soft and caring.
Now his soul is the ghost,
who stops him from sharing.
So lost and confused, he chooses to abuse.

The more i watch it catches my eye,
before she knew he was by her side.
Afraid to move as if she's frozen,
wish she could run and try to hide.

While laughing and having no remorse,
you robbed, raped, and killed her.
She never had a second chance,
for all i seen was a quit glance.

Now terrified that he had seen me.
Where do i run and where do i go.
I never reached out to stop the crime,
so now i realize im going to die.

With a quick thought i know what to do.
